Fair warning to all if this round remains consistent with prior years: The withdraw application link is going to disappearā¦for everyoneā¦though not at exactly the same time. It happens when they upload decisions to the portal. It is NOT a sign of admission, or rejection or waitlist. Letās please learn from prior yrs and avoid the speculation on this particular change in the portal.
What you want to focus on is whether your address (one or two, I donāt think it matters) remains (which is good = accepted OR waitlisted) or disappears (which is bad). If (and only if) address(es) remain on the portal, you then want to focus on whether the update application link disappears (very good = admitted) or remains (waitlisted).
Remember that checking for the update application link only matters IF your address(es) remain on the portal. Address(es) trump everything. If your address(es) disappear, then it doesnāt really matter whether the update application link disappears or not.

i donāt think so, the biggest tell is the address/update application stuff and thatās for everyone

Iāll also say, last year, someone posted a video of a girl getting accepted RD with the āUpdateā button still on her portal, which seemed to indicate a waitlist (https:// youtu.be/m5jpuqge7V4?si=vfQHOdeDn3Q0kmMm, about 15:30) so Iām not sure whether the astrology stuff is accurate for RD.

Could you share a screenshot of where and how you saw this?
you have to look in the source code. after youāre able to, you can use the search feature and type in like oval and it should show up
