Do you think I have a chance, especially at Stanford, it’s those stupid GCSE’s that I am worried about.
Really want to play either Football or American Football for the University. ( I know how hard it is)
Thanks

Your extra-curriculars are certainly competitive, but I don’t know very much about the GCSE or AS systems. You may want to elaborate on your grades if you know your GPA or anything like that, it will help the people here give you a better estimate.

Otherwise, yeah, you definitely have a chance, gotta write some kickass essays just like everyone else though.

You have a shot. While I’m not to familiar with the GCSE system I know that getting Bs on GCSE is not like getting Bs in the American system. Make sure you make some mention of that in the additional information section of your application. Like @RedSn0w said you’re gong to have to write really good essays if you want a shot.
On the athletics note, don’t get your heart set on playing Football (american) for Stanford (or any other really good athletic program) unless you are already being recruited. Teams as good as Stanford’s football team don’t take on many walk-ons, nor do those walk-ons tend to get much playing time. I would stick with intramural sports

They want a blend of students and the English accent can’t hurt. Seriously, you look like a good prospect and I know of several people who got accepted with slightly lower scores but through that sports door (coaches have pull with admissions) so see if you can make contact with one of the coaches now if you really want to play.
