I took java and robotics one year and intro to econ the next.

Fun- yes. I loved the two summers I spent there. Very fun activities everyday.
Informative- yes. You cover a lot of material while having a fun summer. Nice balance between work and play.

If those are your two search criteria, I would go for it!

Sounds super cool…I hope I get accepted. Do they accept a lot of people?

I went last year to the expository writing course as a rising junior… Best summer ever!
I learned a lot, but I also had a lot of time to connect with the people around me. Everyone around you is extremely motivated, and it helps you get through the occasional night when you had 5+ hrs of homework but don’t worry! That doest happen too often:)

The people you meet there and the overall experience was incredible. In fact, I still keep in touch with the people I met over the summer, and many of us travel across the globe to visit each other. :)

There were about 15 people I my class? And 2 groups stay in one house (i.e. philosophy and creative writing reside in one house) you get To connect with your teacher on a one-on-one basis, and at the end of te program, he writes you a full length evaluation letter that you can send to colleges.
I would do it again this year in a heartbeat, but I wanted to apply to a more prestigious program this summer (like lbw). Idk how many kids are accepted overall?? I think over 200 are… However, there are a lot of classes, and each class has 10-25 students?? I wouldnt say that they accept almost everyone who applies, but it isn’t the most prestigious program either. Having said that, I would definitely apply!

You won’t regret it! :)
