<p>Does anyone know whether Stanford’s new financial aid initiative (no parental contribution required for families with a combined income of $45 000 or lower) applies to all applicants, or only to those from the United States?</p>

<p>Stanford has financial aid for international students. I applied for it. However they state on their site that “Stanford has a limited amount of financial aid for international students, and, in most cases, the need for aid will be a factor in the admission decision.”</p>
