Stanford FAN number for cell phone discounts

Does anyone know what Stanford’s FAN (Foundation Account Number) is for getting the student cell phone discount from At&t?

So I just entered a new 2-year contract with At&t using Stanford’s discount. I ordered it through At&t’s premier site by entering my Stanford email, so the only receipt had the discount on it. But when I got my paper estimated bill, it didn’t. So I called customer service, and they said I have to bring the Stanford FAN and proof of enrollment to an actual store to process the discount.

I emailed Stanford freshman help but the person told me she didn’t know of any FAN number…

thanks!

Call the help center again (the person is misinformed); getting the discount just requires going online to a special part of the ATT site.

^ do you happen to kno if it’s part of the premier site? or which part of the ATT site is it?

Email address here: https://www.wireless.att.com/business/authenticate/

"to enroll your account in the AT&T Sponsorship Program to take advantage of corporate discounts and other benefits, you may be charged a $36 Sponsorship Fee for each line of service under your account. "

I already got an at & t account and I was signing up for benefits under the Premier website. This showed up. So will I be charged $36 or no?!

I tried registering online, however, the site told me that I have to go to an actual at & t wireless store with my ID. As I obviously don’t have my ID yet (pre-frosh), do I really have to wait until school starts to register?

Nope. When I called I think the guy said any proof of enrollment is fine. Try bringing in a letter from Stanford that has your name and address on it, like the one we got in Approaching Stanford.

^Thanks for the info!
