I’m not completely sure whether this belongs in this thread but it’s my best guess? It’s from the Daily Cal and is about students failing CS classes for various reasons including AI cheating (in the CS classes), and inadequate math knowledge because of AI cheating (in previous UC Berkeley classes that were supposed to prepare them for math in CS class).
This isn’t about standardized tests, though… the concern is not as much about the students’ preparation when they started college, but about how AI cheating seems to be affecting getting the education they are supposed to get in college. There is probably a better thread somewhere about AI cheating and math skills in general, or maybe we should start one, but it seems to be rather connected.
