<p>would this idea for the stanford supplement intellectual essay be on-prompt?</p>

<p>i am extremely involved in music (doing a live audition, earned many awards, etc), but about a year ago i started working with an accompanist who completely changed my perspective on music. he made me realize how passion for music can actually save a person’s spirit, despite overwhelming challenges (formerly a conductor at the royal conservatory in moscow, he had to flee the country and is now a pianist at a tiny public ballet program in the us, despite his amazing talent).</p>

<p>is this just an extracurricular essay, or does it satisfy as an “intellectual experience?”</p>

<p>only question of whether it’s an EC essay or intellectual essay would depend on

  1. if u have something better to write as an intellectual essay
    or
  2. if u don’t have any ideas for an EC essay, then i guess u’d have to use this idea for it</p>

<p>however, u seem very passionate about this subject and i think it would probably be in your best interest to use this topic for ur main essay</p>
