<p>If I want to get into UCLA, does it look better that I attend the UCI Internship because theyre both UC Schools, OR is it better to do the Stanford Internship because its…well Stanford. But the problem with Stanford is that its $9000 (even though its super prestigious and you had to be accepted into the program based on a review of grades and an essay)</p>
<p>Also Stanfords is 4 weeks of rigourous lab work and lectures compared to UCIs 2 weeks.</p>
<p>my friend suggested that I do the UCI one because of the same UC system, but make sure to explain in my college apps that i was accepted into the Stanford one to show my prestige. Is that a bad idea???</p>
<p>Stanford one looks crazy expensive, not worth it when a school like UCLA looks mostly at numbers anyways.</p>
<p>regardless of the prices, i feel like i would be passing up a huge opportunity to boost my college acceptance chances. would UCI even look impressive to a competitive school like UCLA?</p>
<p>I know what UCI internship you’re talking about and it sounds really good. I would not do the Stanford one if I were you.</p>
