Stanford Learning, Design & Technology Master's degree

I have had some trouble finding info on this program other than the Stanford website. Does anyone have any experience with the Stanford education department?

For reference, I have a B.A. in Digital Media from 2006. Since then I have moved around and held down various jobs, all in the realm of education (teaching, library work, etc). I realized that I’m very interested in the curriculum of LDT, but I’m open to any similar programs that focus on interactive media + learning.

My GRE is not great. I got a 610 V and only 530 Q. Math is not my strong point. I am afraid to bother re-taking it without extensive prep, as I took mine during my senior year of college and I’m sure I have forgotten even those weak math skills. LDT says that they don’t have a lower limit on GREs, but I am sure that mine are probably below their normal admittance.

I am looking to apply for the fall 2011 year, so any recommendations on how I can strengthen my application (between now and September) are greatly appreciated!

I forgot to add that my undergrad GPA was 3.6-3.7ish. I don’t have the exact info right now.

GREs are good for 5 years. Stanford may want fresher GREs, you should ask so you can retake.

elgato06, I’m thinking of applying to the same program at some point in the next two years. Did you end up applying to Stanford’s LTD program (or one at another school)? If so, how’d it go?
