Yes, because the city corresponds to the high schools within the city, not the whole state - if that makes sense.
This makes no sense. For example, there are no events in Palo Alto, CA and San Jose, CA. I know there are ton of feeder schools in these 2 towns that get admitted. They will attend near by event in Stanford, CA.

I would have to think that the Denver reception would include my daughter, if she were admitted. Based on the āaccess deniedā that I get when I try to click on the link, it looks like she didnāt get in.

Stay positive. This is just dumb portal astrology. 
Ask them specifically instead of random or vague guesses that theyāll attend. The admit webpage specifically says that only the students belonging to high schools that are in the areas listed there will be able to register for events, not others. Itās possible that the students you are talking about may physically contact Stanford or AOs due to being nearby and thus maybe able to get entry into events but as far as the webpage is concerned, only the students from high schools that are in the areas listed there can attend. If you still have doubts, you can look at this astrology and how it worked from the last year.

I also looked up those chat sessions that they referenced last year. That could just be a regular decision offering in the spring as I donāt even see that on their website now.
That link was for last year only. Somebody got it from discord. I donāt know how they got it. But it was time-bound so it wonāt work now.
