Stanford Students to get "Easy" A in summer

Here’s an article on Stanford premeds taking summer classes at Santa Clara university hoping to get an A to boost their GPA.

That link isn’t working.

Dr. Letteer is a great instructor with a great reputation for making physics understandable for non-physics majors. It’s not just for the ‘easy A’ it is also a matter of economics…the summer program is a lot less expensive than taking it at Stanford.

I’m not complaining. I would do the same thing.

Whats the point of going to Stanford in the first place?

^Lol can you read? It’s a summer class.

^Lol can you think? His point was that if you spend all this money over four years to get a Stanford education, why deliberately duck challenging courses and take them somewhere else, defeating the entire idea of getting a superior education.

^Lol can you stop stalking me? Maybe they’ll take harder classes during the fall/spring terms.

Everyone knows that the quality of education is the same, give or take. Students go to Stanford for reputation and connections.

read the article, no need for outside speculation of ‘oh they’ll do this and that next semester’. it clearly quotes students, as well as a professor, in saying they are taking it for the easy A. and what the previous person meant was what is the point of going to a university that is known for its science departments just to go to another uni to take the easy way out.

I still don’t see what’s the point in getting worked up over a summer class…meh w/e
