I couldn’t find a thread for Stanford transfer applicants that have applied for Fall 2024 so I made one. Stanford confirmed that transfer decisions will be coming out on Friday, May 10th at 4pm PDT.

I want to stay neutral about it but it’s been a dream school of mine since I was in middle school. finally got the courage to apply so I’m just nervous about the outcome on Friday.

Yeah I’m cautiously optimistic but keeping my hopes in check and I’m prepared for the rejection. I’m gonna go back to CC if I don’t get in but it would be nice to get accepted, I really resonated with this one professor and his studies - Robert Sapolsky.
I think everyone is approaching it in that manner too lol but yeah wouldn’t it be nice… I’m approaching that level of insanity where I’m scouring the internet for portal astrology now lol

Idk why they kept deleting all the posts about the Stanford Transfer Fall 2024 decision date on Reddit; they deleted mine, yours, and I think someone else’s prior one too and some of the ones posted afterwards as well.
Feeling pretty good I suppose, I saw somebody’s essays who got into Princeton and they used the same strategies I did so I’m feeling pretty hopeful I guess.
Say, I think I saw someone on Reddit say that if your email address disappears, it might signal if you’re accepted or rejected but I can’t find it anymore, would you happen to know anything about that?
It is weird… not sure why they’re suppressing the information but that’s them ig. I haven’t heard of anything with the emails… only thing I’ve seen involves the address and the checklist. I believe if address gone = reject.

are you referring to your email address disappearing with your checklist in your portal maybe ensures rejection?
