Stanford Undergraduate Film

How is Stanford’s Undergraduate Film major? Is it relatively easy to get into?

Declaring a film major once you’re an undergrad is just as easy as declaring any other major. I’m not really sure what you mean by “easy to get into”. Stanford has no quotas for majors. Beyond that, I’m not so familiar with the major itself. You have to take Art History and Film Study in your first two years at Stanford. I don’t know any Film majors myself, but here’s the website for more info:

Excellent! Thanks for the info

I don’t think Stanford’s great if you want to make movies. My friend’s into film making and he tell me that all of the classes are focused on film history, rather than film production.

Of course, I don’t know much about the film major myself, so I could be wrong…
