Stanford vs Berkeley - Quality? - Biology?

Is there a noticeable difference in the quality of education (professors, class size, teaching abilities) between the two universities. I am interested in majoring in biology (emphasis on wildlife zoology aspects). Berkeley is well known in the field of wildlife biology but I’m not sure I wan’t to attend such a large university. My only concern about Stanford is that there is not enough interest in ecology. It is undergraduate so I’m not sure how important it will be. Just hoping someone might have some insight on the topic.

Thanks

Berkeley’s Molecular and Cell Biology (MCB) and Integrative Biology (IB) majors are huge; introductory courses in chemistry and biology as prerequisites to those majors are huge. Biology is generally a popular major, though (probably due to pre-med aspirations, although majoring in biology is not required to be pre-med).

Upper division IB courses can be small or large. The large ones (up to 700) appear to be the human and medicine focused ones (e.g. IB 132, 140, C143, 169), while others can be small (e.g. IB C100, 103LF, 104LF, etc.).
