Stanford is top 10 in all 4 professional fields
Stanford is top 5 in all 12 Academic disciplines

Harvard is top 5 in just 7 of the 12 disciplines. Others don't even come close.

Now i'm not trying to say whether Stanford is better, equal, or worse than HYP. All i'm doing is proving that Stanford ranks better than HYP in those disciplines.

The Ivies with the most top 10 graduate programs are Harvard/Cornell because of their focus on research. Princeton has more of an undergrad focus, and doesn't even have a medical school or MBA program...it's not even fair to compare Princeton since it doesn't have many grad schools. Even then, I'd say Stanford has the upper hand on Harvard/Cornell for grad focus.

One thing to note, though, is Stanford if quite a bit easier to get into via grad school than any Ivy. It's easier to get into Stanford engineering, Medical school etc., than it is to get into most Ivies at the grad level. This higher acceptance rate is because of the huge size of the grad program...they have a lot more students, and therefore can do a lot of reasearch to bring up the rankings.

I agree...I was just trying to back up my comments about Stanford being ranked higher by US News. Some people thought i was "full of crap."

Why dont you add Berkeley to the mix? Notice how Berkeley beats just about everyone except perhaps Harvard and Stanford.
