Yet another asian female…Stanford, Harvard, or UPenn chances? I’m definitely not very unusual.
-sophomore at NC private school, top 5% of class
-PSAT=215, member of Study of Exceptional Talent (1260 SAT before age 13, 700V/560M at age 12. Hoping it’ll go up!)
-uncle is a professor at Harvard. dunno if that means anything.
-unusual instrument = 3 yrs of bamboo flute
-arts = classical dance for 9 years (giving 2 hour solo this september.)
-academics = all A’s w/1 AP (usually no APs allowed for sophomores at my school), best in English in the grade, Precalc Hons, AP SpanishLang
-ECs = nationally ranked debater, Spanish Honor Society, Quiz Bowl county champ, tutoring ESL at local school, tutoring spanish and math at my own school.
Please help me get out of NC!!

But it’s too bad that you still dont have that big of a chance at Stanford. I’d give it a 25% since they already have enough extremely well qualified Asians. You’d be better off listing yourself as American Indian. The UC’s dont care about race, but I’m 100% sure Stanford does.</p>
