<p>A few weeks back I got an email from Stanford’s School of Earth Sciences/ admission office regarding the School of Earth Sciences. It was a package from the university. I’m just curious… how many of you got that email too??</p>
<p>Just curious. Do you think it was a mass mailing or was it just to particular students?</p>

<p>I got it because I indicated on the ACT that I am interested in earth science.</p>
<p>Zam: See, that’s what I thought… but then I couldn’t actually remember indicating that on the ACT questionnaire. Maybe I’m wrong…</p>
<p>Yeah, I was hoping to be special as well until I realized the reason. I imagine they send it to most kids who select that major since not many are interested in it.</p>

Zam: Yeah, that’s what I figured… but hey there must be something good about the fact that hardly anyone is actually interested in the program and we are … right? haha</p>
