Stanford's so much fun!!!!

EVERYONE get accepted here it’s sooooo cooollllalalala

It’s threads like this that will make me cry even harder when I finally get my rejection letter ='(

This thread reeks of ■■■■■.

Actually, Oprah is a 2013’er.

i second what llpitch said. Oprah’s not a ■■■■■…

Stanford’s cool, we all know that. So I’ll just first eat breakfast and get accepted to Stanford and then take care of the rest of the day’s chores?

I’d understand if this was a thread about specifically why Stanford’s great but the only purpose this thread serves is to grind applicants up in anxiety. I’m really stressing out over my application right now and my head almost exploded at the sight of this. I apologize if Oprah’s being a sincere poster but that just wasn’t a productive thing to say.

^ It was written light-heartedly. Calm down.

I am sure Oprah meant no harm. However, I see coooolman’s point of view. If Oprah gives it a second thought, she might consider that those on the outside looking in could be slightly offended. There is a lot of stress on those still in the application process.

Oprah is actually a guy. lol.

teeheeheee <3

try those who wanted to get in but didn’t and are persistent so they’re reapplying…
out of curiosity though, Oprah, could you elaborate on why Stanford is so much fun? i’m completely convinced that it’s absolutely incredible. i visited the campus and fell in love with it instantly but i just want to know from a student’s persepective, why most students love it there as much as they do. thanks!

It’s not so much fun when you’re writing an ihum essay :/

lol i guess that’s how it is no matter where you go.

haha i didnt even get my first ihum essay prompt until 2 days ago. its due in 2 weeks. everyone else around me has been writing essays for pwr/ihum for a while. <3 laws and orders

lol oprah :)

i’m still not feeling Laws and Orders.

9 AM lecture = waste of time.

IHUM lecture = waste of time

yeah i actually hate the class…but i like the amount of work they give us.

lol! man, I miss my ihum days…

so considering that all freshmen take ihum, what would a transfer, be it a sophomore or junior do with regards to that? would they be able to transfer equivalent classes to fulfill the requirement or get stuck in a class of basically all freshmen?
