<p>I know, CF. It’s really sad that it takes an injury to get a suspension. The thought of how bad that COULD have been should be enough to warrant a game or too. They dropped the ball IMO.</p>

<p>Except for about 10 minutes in the 3rd, Bruins dominated the game.</p>

<p>If they have the same trouble as last year scoring on the power play, it will be tough to repeat. Not happy about all the missed chances.</p>

<p>I agree the Bruins had the better play for the majority of the game… definitely the first 2 periods. I wouldn’t say the Bruins had too many GREAT chances though.</p>

<p>Bruins team is built for the playoffs and they will be hard to beat. Caps need to scratch a couple of the guys that played tonight and use 2 other guys if we are going to have a chance.</p>

<p>Very hard to repeat as champions in the NHL.</p>

<p>Eh, that’s OK. I love my Wings, but I won’t dare make any excuses for them. They’ve choked the last few years and, while I’m rooting for them, I’m not overly optimistic this year given our loss of Helm and the way we finished our regular season.</p>

<p>I’m more of an OHL (Whalers) girl now anyway. OHL is so much more fun to watch than this 40 minutes of penalties per game crap NHL anyway. And then my boys go on to become goons in the NHL anyway (like Jared Boll of Columbus). So proud <em>tear</em>.</p>

<p>I’m not too hopeful for my Sharks either. Their “penalty killing” is an embarrassment, and they went through a stage this year where they, like, lost twelve games in a row or something like that. At least it seemed that way. They barely made it into the playoffs, so I’m just glad they’re there. And up 1-0.</p>

<p>Out of the two, I’d root for you guys. I have a soft spot for some Cali teams given that I lived there for a bit. But for the life of me, I could never support their other sports teams.</p>

<p>On a side note, last Thanksgiving (2010), we went to see a Red Wings/Columbus game down in Columbus. I’m pretty sure there were more wings fans there than Columbus. It was kind of sad.</p>

<p>Also, Boll had to shoot a penalty shot against the Wings. I was conflicted about who to cheer for lol.</p>

<p>Haven’t gotten to see much hockey this season, but my Blackhawks are down 0-1. I’ll keep rooting for them until they are out, then pick another O6 team to root for. Where is Canuckguy?</p>

<p>IMO, there’s a huge difference between a goon and a bully. Goons are acceptable. They go for the fights, NOT cowardly moves like Weber did. Weber is a bully and the league gave him a pass after already being reprimanded. Not good if the league is trying to take the stand that they’re cracking down on these types of moves. </p>

<p>Can you tell I’m still bitter? It just really, really bugs me that the league let him get away with this. It was just so dangerous.</p>
