<p>Interesting. I think the tradition of each player on the winning team getting to take the Cup home for a day, regardless of where he lives, is also a great tradition, but I didn’t see it mentioned.</p>

And the coaches! Coach Q is from my little town and he brought the Cup to a local restaurant last time. That place is now gone so we’re having fun guessing where he might bring it (knock on wood) this time.</p>

<p>It won’t travel for the entire year. The champions will get to share it for 100 days and must schedule and organize the travel to accommodate one of the four ‘keepers of the cup’ to accompany them and it. It will return here to its actual home in Toronto at the Hockey Hall of Fame after each player and management member get to have it spend a day with them. Lots of fun stories about its travels and adventures with the winning team!</p>
