I guess the Sharks have disappointed the Bay Area fans again. Bruins are the prohibitive favorites but everybody loves a Cinderella story and the glass slipper or skate might fit the Blues this year. Plus Gloria is a great song.

I was in Boston this weekend and had to leave yesterday afternoon. I considered staying for the party at City Hall and the game but I was with D19 and D21 who have no interest in sports so I saved a bunch of money and flew home to watch the game on my couch.
It was fun to see the city so decked out for the game. One of the big statues in the Public Garden (of Edward Hale - had to look that one up!) is dressed in a Bruins jersey and is holding a hockey stick and the sculpture of Arthur Fiedler’s head is now wearing a giant Bruins helmet.

I was sad to see the ducklings were not in their tiny bruins hats or jerseys yet, hopefully someone dresses them up soon!
If they win, we’ll have 3 Championship teams at the same time! A far cry from 1986 when we had to settle for 3 playing in the championships, but only the Celtics winning
