<p>If anyone else is a trekkie waiting for the new movie, a friend sent me this link to photos of the new cast. Here’s the link. Besides the guy from Heroes who plays Sylar as Spock, John Cho (?) from Harold and Kumar is Sulu. Zoe Saldana is also in the cast. Can’t wait.</p>

<p>Oooohh, I don’t know about this. It looks a little like they are trying do a spoof of the original 60s show. Or maybe they aren’t trying to do the show but it is happening anyway! That’s the first pair of go-go boots I’ve seen in awhile. I don’t want this to be another Dragnet.</p>
<p>This is a “prequel” to the original 60’s series, so they have to do some things similarly. It occurs upon graduation from the academy - they’re cadets, I believe.</p>
<p>Did they ever resolve the issue of Spock’s mother? They initially cast her as a Vulcan!</p>
