So a couple of years ago I did really bad a community college so I started over. Now that I am transfering schools I wondered if anyone has gotten caught doing this. I have not used financial aid, nor am I going to use it when I transfer.

Does a University even investigate if a student does not apply for financial aid?

I just want to know if knows of anyone getting caught by starting over at another school.

When you transfer they ask you to list all colleges you have attended. If they find out you’re not listing one it will mean automatic rejection.

I know what happens if i get caught, I just want to know if there are instances were it happened.

Did you ever find any instances of when this has happened?

Better to be upfront about the initial bad record and point to how you did so much better with more maturity (or whatever). Universities like to see students who have improved.
