Starting a fraternity

Does anyone know if USC is currently allowing new chapters?
I’m interested in expanding on a fraternity that is currently up and running.

thanks!

Check with the IFC office and see what the procedures are for fraternity colonization. It is not clear if you wish to gather a group of men together to start a new chapter of a national fraternity or start a local organization that will have no national affiliation.

Some guys restarted the long-dead Fiji chapter at USC like two years ago.

Oh its a national fraternity, sorry i forgot to mention that.

Delta Chi is currently recolonizing, and Phi Sigma Kappa and Phi Gamma Delta just got re-chartered. Honestly, I don’t think you’ll be super successful in starting a new fraternity, since we already have like 24 of them (does Kappa Alpha count? I don’t know)
