I am currently a senior in High school and I know this might be stupid but I believe getting a change of scenery for atleast one year would help me focus my life much better than it would at a community college, However, the colleges I want to spend my freshmen year at I do not intend to graduate at. I intend to go to a community college my sophomore year. I know its a waste of money I know.
My question is? Will I be able to do that and how far will I be behind if I go to say San Diego State or a Private Institution for a year or two and transfer from a Community or stay there and transfer. . My dream school is either Cal, UCLA, or a private ivy/institution such as NYU which I could not afford to attend for all four years of my education. Please Help!
