I’m currently starting my college search. I’m a sophmore honors student, reciveing outstanding grades in most classes and not as great in 2 others. I don’t take goof off electives(currently I have Computer Science 2 and Computer Grachics 1). I had decent PSATS(1670, with no prep ). I plan on majoring with computer science or computer animation/graphics. I also want to greatly dabble with film. I am not in many extracurriculars, mainly because the few I am in take up a lot of time. I plan on joining more next year. I have worked as a CIT, which is a summer camp volunteer program during the summer. This summer I am attending Cornell Summer College, and plan to get a job and voulnteer. Over the past two years, I wasn’t motivated or driven like I have recently become and plan to step it up a lot. Are there any suggestions on schools that would be reaches(the reaches motivate me more)? Also, will being a middle class black female going into computer science effect anything?

I think this is what journalists call “burying the lead.”

Rochester Institute of Technology has programs in comp sci, computer graphics, and film.

Is that all? Sorry About not puttin the information in bullet form.
