<p>Is there a disadvantage of starting UROP in the second year instead of as a freshman? Would the same UROP opportunities be available for second years who did not take it in the 1st year?</p>
<p>I don’t think there is any disadvantage and you should have all the same opportunities available. There are more 1st year than 2nd year UROP students because they pitch UROP fairly hard to 1st years.</p>
