Starting USC Spring 2007: What to do for a Semester?

<p>I’m seriously considering going to USC (accepted Spring 2007) as long as I can spend my first semester doing something educational and exciting.</p>

<p>I don’t want to stay at home and go to Community College, but I go want to get some general education requirements out of the way so I can graduate with my class, as USC suggested. I’m lucky enough to say money is not an option, and my parents are supportive of me going abroad. </p>

<p>So…are there any programs that let incoming freshmen students take classes abroad? </p>

<p>I don’t know of any that aren’t affiliated with a university or that take place beyond the summer, but you might try to google volunteer opportunities abroad. There are a number of independent organizations that set up humanitarian service opportunities for young people.</p>
