<p>I know that some colleges try to make sure as many states are represented as possible. But the, what about US citizens living outside of the US? Which state are we classified as? Or do have our own category or are classified as internationals?</p>

<p>Is it easier for out of state citizens to get into schools than internationals?</p>

<p>1) the State diversity thing is overblown. the Dakotas, Wyoming, MS – that’s about it – since you’re not, don’t worry about it.
2) you’re not an international
3) your US citizenship puts you in a much better position than internationals.</p>
