State speech champion in this category...?

<p>Hi! How are you?</p>

<p>Well, um. I’m still working on my resume.</p>

<p>I put down “State speech champion in DUO – 2007”</p>

<p>But the thing is, would they know what the category of “DUO” is ?</p>

<p>Should I offer an explanation, or is this something that they must have come across enough to know what it is?</p>

<p>I doubt if they care whether you’re doing duo or dramatic interpretation or impromptu or whatever…
It’s speech, and you’re state champion, and that’s what counts.</p>

<p>Well… I kind of won two last year, and then a few others the previous years. I put them all down, and then I put down the specific names of the categories to show the various categories I did.</p>
