My schools in the middle of state testing - but today I was really sick and had to miss it. Do I have to make it up/is it really important?

Depending on your state’s requirements your school might have to withhold graduation until you take your tests. I remember missing a day during my state’s assessments in 11th grade (Pennsylvania) and they just had a few days the next week where students that missed a test were required to go and make it up. Not a big deal.

Oh, and I live in California if anyone knows the requirements…

You usually have to make standards up…if you don’t you won’t be permitted to graduate.

EDIT: Looked up CA standards, there are make-up dates already listed. I guess they’ll tell you when you go back to school.

New York has state tests called regents for every main subject, and you have to take one for every class at the end of the year and need to pass a certain amount in each subject to graduate. They give them in January, June, and August. I know California used to (dont know if they still do?) give regents, not sure if that’s what you’re talking about.

Main subjects? I just missed my Physics STAR test, so do you think that would count?

Eh… I guess I just have to ask tomorrow…
