<p>Large state universities, particularly flagship state schools. They draw students from all over the state, so naturally some students will be huge art nerds, while others will rap, and still others will live and breathe EDM.</p>
<p>^ Like the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, maybe? It’s big (~25K students); presumably, it draws students from all over the state. Do you think it has a high percentage of Rappers, EDM nerds, and Andy Warhol types? I don’t really know, but I’d guess the absolute numbers are low and the percentages are miniscule.</p>
<p>I would think that the largest absolute numbers are to be found in large universities (public OR private) located in places attractive to these folk. NYU or UCLA, maybe. As for the largest percentages … hmm. I would look at small liberal arts colleges with low/no Greek presence, no D1 sports, strong art/music/film departments, and a reputation for attracting lefty-liberals, artistes, hipsters, and their ilk. Wesleyan, Vassar, Oberlin, Sarah Lawrence, and Hampshire come to mind. Some of the Historically Black Colleges/Universities might also be rich in #1 or #2.</p>
