Statistics 2010

And yes, I was rushed, and I didn’t get to finish #5, the easiest one where I could have picked up points if only I had had more time. Ugh.

Yeah, I went straight for #5 and made sure I got every last point, since I knew how to do that one. I was rushed on #1 and #2, but the rest I feel I got at least 3/4s on. Looks like that 4 I need so much will be a reality :)

I feel like I probably got 2s on all my FRQ, maybe with exception towards #1, #6, and #3. I know I missed at least three parts-- probability on the car models, full procedure on the inference (5), and an explanation for another problem. Pity I started my high school career with a likely 3 or 4, gah.

I had some time left over during the MCs, so I went through every question and marked ones I was positive I had correct. I had about 30 or so that had to be right, so I think I’m in pretty good shape. Some questions were similar to REA’s, so I felt prepared. Some things weren’t even covered in class, so I’m glad I relied so heavily on my review book.

^^only a 4 as a freshman??? find a cliff nearest to your house & go jump off it. hurry, now, before your family is ashamed of you for that 4!!!

wait…just to reiterate…because I think I might have gotten different answers…

did you guys get a p-value of about .399 or something liek that for the question about the fish hypothesis test and 5.2 for the Q value?

Ah, I am too, although my class wad pretty thorough. It’s just that three were about 3 months after the class ended where I forgot tons of the material. I’m really hoping I’ll scratch by with a five, but realistically I got a four unless the curve drops to something ridiculous.

Guess, I’m a sophomore. ; )

Wait, I got 6.4… what did I do wrong?

There were specific questions on the exam that were NEVER covered in my class that REA covered, on MC and FRQs. Just goes to show that you can’t just trust the class but you always need a good review book. Flipping through it the first few hours of school before the exam did wonders for me. :D

blah blah blah

did everybody else get those answers? …because now I’m like getting really worried that I didn’t even get a 4 on this exam!
I thought I had definitely gotten those questions right…but i guess not.

I didn’t finish 5, but on 6 I got something like 6.2.

Byubound, I know what you mean-- I relied partially on Barrons myself for conceptual stuff. I hope that we both did well; two fours doesn’t seem too unreasonable, right?

for the Q value question, you basically just had to plug the average number from the previous question into the R spot right?

I think I annoyed the other people sitting at my table because I kept erasing during most of the FRQ and it kinda shook the table, haha

I’m disappointed for skipping 6. I was intimidated and decided against it since on other practice tests they seemed to hard and I just focused my attention on the other 5 questions… DAMNIT

finished mc in just under 50 minutes then stared off into space for a while. fr was a lot harder. im sorta positive i got at least a 4, which is all i need for michigan to give me credit. so… boom!

are you guys sure that #6 on the FRQ wasnt asking for a median average? i mean it makes sense cuz ranks are usually whole numbers and all the ranks they gave in the data table were like 1,2,3…

we should try remembering all the MC.

1. D, it was the boxplot with the highest median.

2. E, but forgot the question

do u guys remember any of them?

39. E

40. E
