Statistics 2010

bump 10char

I wholeheartedly believe that the only graph the readers were looking for in bi was a residual plot.

I’d be surprised if I got above a 2. That test was SO hard.

I think I can pull a 4 but I just know I made a few mistakes on the FRQs, and I can see now I made one pretty careless mistake on #6 which has me bothered. I thought the MC went really well, but I just can’t be sure how I’ll do overall. I don’t want to have to take another semester of Stat :(

I see now that I nailed parts a and b of #6, but I made a careless error on part c that consequently will cost me part d as well. However, like it was stated somewhere in this thread before, wouldn’t getting the wrong rankings for part c but using them correctly in the calculation of the Q-value merit some partial credit? I know the Q-value I got was wrong now, but it just doesn’t seem right to make it all or nothing for those two sections, since one part requires the other part.

EDIT: Also, does anyone know of any unofficial scoring guidelines for the 2010 exam?

I called CollegeBoard this morning for my scores, and with some sick twist of fate, managed to pull off a 5 in AP Statistics. Whenever I did score calculations, I’d always come one or two points off from the released curve, so the curve must have been pretty easy this year. Either that, or I just happened to guess a lot of my multiple choice right. Whatever happened, I’m glad it happened.

I passed!!!

lol, I’m a sad case compared to the poster above me…

I thought it was really easy, but I only got a 2…
I hate taking tests…
Grr.

oxolojo, I though it was well near impossible. But somehow I got a 3  Although on my other AP exams, I thought they were easy and did sub-par.

I was also really cocky going into it; our teacher only had one person get a 2 last year.
But someone has to be that person!
I’m just a really bad test taker.

So you guys think the curve was easy? I’m worried about this exam, but I only need a 4.

^I took the make-up Stats AP but I doubt the curve was easy… I literally did not find a single remotely difficult question on that test…

I thought it was kinda hard and I definitely screwed up some stuff, but I still got a 5, if that cheers up anyone waiting…

I got a 5 on the AP STAT exam and I thought two of the FRQs were near impossible…just thought I’d share…( I did, however, think the MC was easy)

I had trouble with one part of one of the normal FRQs and maybe a little confusion on the case study, but still a 5. Happy day :)

It’s very reassuring to hear that people had a hard time with it and still got 5’s. I thought for the most part it was easy (very confident on the MC), but I know I did screw up in a few places on the FRQ’s. All in all, I’m shooting for a 4.

I thought the MC was a breeze and free-response was mostly not too bad, except #6, which I froze up on…thinking about it months later, I still don’t get it. XD But I got a 5, so I suppose the curve had to account for #6 cause none of my classmates could explain that question to me.

got a 2. ■■■
going to re-score the MC

got a 5… not bad for a self-study :)

It is killing me waiting for this score. Are there any more success stories out there? So far it sounds like it went well for a lot of people.
