i got a 5 too but i thought i was really good at stats but i did mess up the few FRQ that everyone messed up. pretty sure the curve on this years is like the same others factoring in 2 of the FRQ being almost impossible… just a guess

So many 5s… it makes me not worry so much about mine, but then again this is CC. I studied a lot though, so we’ll see. I posted a thread asking people to post their scores and thoughts on the exam. It now has a running total going for all of the scores.

5

10 characters

dang, my ap scores still haven’t come yet :(

oh come on , I only got a 4 on AP stats
i thought this was the easiest ap i took
and the rest i was unsure about but they were 5
should I do a rescore??
I am almost sure i got every single question on the MC
and last question correct on FR

So how do the answers you guys with 5’s put down compare with those I posted in post #395?

@byubound - The free response questions are actually online, so you could maybe find those and verify your answers?

Obviously I don’t remember what answers I got two months later, but maybe this will give you a good idea of a 5-worthy exam: I was relatively unsure about my multiple choice, and knew for a fact I got a couple of questions wrong after discussing the test with my friends. I omitted three questions at the end, and basically guessed on half of the last ten, so I’m thinking I got somewhere around 30 multiple choice questions correct, give or take. On the FRQ, for the first garlic question, I said that you actually could use a linear model if you correct the slight curve with ladder of powers, so I’m not sure how the graders dealt with that. I also left all but part A of the cars question blank, and missed the last part on question 6. Granted, I was probably borderline 5, but hopefully this helps some of you guys stressing out realize that you don’t need to worry too much, because I was once in your shoes.

^AP Central hasn’t released the scoring guidelines yet, but thanks anyway. These posts have been giving me more confidence that I did well. All I have to do now is wait a few more days to see how I really did.

I wish you the best of luck.

^Thanks. The difference between a 3 and a 4 is the difference between taking a semester of Stat in college or not.
