I already basically chose EE for my major and have been looking at schools that are good for that, but i still feel like im not doing what i want. Ive always loved statistics but my end goal is to become an FBI agent and i figured the best way to make that happen would be to major in something very tough/lucrative like electrical engineering. I only have a 3.3 gpa (1860 SATs) but im pretty good at math so i think i would do ok with either major. I just worry that if im not as passionate about EE im going to regret it and do poorly in college.
Also, is a statistics major really useful? I heard a lot of people get math ungrad degrees and then go to grad school for statistics. What is the job outlook on that?

Statistics is absolutely useful. Analytics, being able to show trends, is what statistics is all about. All sorts of jobs out there right now. But, that shouldn’t really matter to you since you want to become an agent.

To me, either are good analytical degrees. You may want to find a forum where the audience is more knowledgeable of the FBI to ask if those are good degrees for that field.

Statistics is really useful. And it is hard to find people who are passionate about it. Potentially very lucrative, especially if you can program a little. Take a look at applied math programs, too.

Stats is tough/lucrative so I don’t see why you shouldn’t major in it if that is your passion.
