Statistics or Playwriting Summer Programs

So, weird combinations of interests here, but does anyone have any suggestions for programs for rising college freshmen in either writing (more specifically drama and playwriting) or statistics/data analysis? Either/or is fine, they program doesn’t have to include both interests, haha. It would be preferable if they were in New England or were generally inexpensive. I don’t care about getting college credit, and internship/fellowship/apprenticeship/education program doesn’t matter to me either. Just curious about what’s out there.

Thanks!

UVA’s writing program has a play writing concentration: [Summer Program | Young Writers Workshop](http://theyoungwriters.org/programs/summer-program)

Does anyone know anything about that program?

For statistics/data analysis, you might be interested in the SPARC program. It is basically about applied mathematics and statistics. I’m applying this year and I think you might find it worth your time to apply.
