<p>I was trying to figure out what to do. I’m going to a community college, (associates degree for arts and sciences) and I don’t know if I should transfer to my state school (Madison) after a year and then transfer out of Madison into a school like Johns Hopkins or stay at community college for the whole 2 years and just try and transfer straight to Johns Hopkins? The reason I’m reluctant to stay at my community college is it’s not the safest place on earth and my guidance counselors don’t really understand what I want to do and the colleges I want to go too. And the reason I wouldn’t want to stay at Madison the rest of the 3 years is I don’t like how it’s a huge school, I’m the type of person who needs a small enviroment and I love love love Johns Hopkins political science department! I know those May seem kind of silly reasons but Madison isn’t the right fit for me. What should I do?</p>
<p>Stay at the CC. State school would be more expensive, and you already seem not to like it. CC is temporary at best, and to be safer, stick in groups, buy mace etc… And with a CC you have more mobility, if you choose to change your mind in a few months. </p>
