Staying fresh after gym class

Yeah, I go to an all-boys school, so gym gets pretty competitive. The volleyball tournaments get so intense, lol.

If there’s no shower at your school, just wipe yourself down and try to stay cool.

I’m a girl, so maybe it’s different, but nobody moves at all during gym class. We pretty much stand around and talk all class, while our gym teacher just yells at us.

In our gym, most people just don’t try. The showers are absolutely disgusting and no one uses them. The guys get a little competitive, especially in soccer, and when we run the mile, you have to do well. But the girls don’t do anything, and the teacher really doesn’t care, because we’re girls. When I was in gym, the two other sophomore girls and I would just walk around the track and talk and go for really long water breaks.

But yeah, try to wipe off as much sweat as you can, then splash some water on your body so you don’t start sweating again. Baby powder and deoderant with baking soda in it are good.

Don’t wear cologne. Mixed with sweat it smells bad. Just shower yourself every morning and wear some type of solid anti. Axe and Old Spice are my go-to choices. Covering yourself with a bunch of crap won’t help your cleanliness.

I need to use babypowder more often then. I rarely used babypowder, and it does work well. Come to think of it, I haven’t used it in that way for several years, I should use that again.

@OP: Don’t use Axe or cologne. Cologne is only good if you have showered or whatnot lol. I like to bring a small towel, deodarant, and soak up as much sweat as I possibly can. I used deodarant before/after PE, and do that everytime I play sports. It helps refresh yourself, although you still will be slightly sweaty.

Lol, I did try in PE because I like athletics, but by HS nobody cared anymore. I went like 65%, and it made most people look like they weren’t trying at all. We were graded on effort too, and had PE uniforms. Only fun PE classes were “open gym,” where we played pick-up bball games.

Good luck smelling good!

funny, I love PE. Its a god send, all we do is play kickball/basketball/volleyball. And the gym teacher is really funny and gets really into it. Its like a break in the school day for me.

No offense to any girls, but I always hated having girls on my team (cept for one who was pretty athletic). Usually they just dodge the ball if it comes close to them in kickball…kinda gets annoying = /

Wait. So your high school doesn’t have a showering facility?
Then what i would suggest is that you put on DO just a little bit before gym class, but NO PERFUME. The sweat just ruins the scent and makes u smell worse.
And After gym class, get a wet towel and wipe yourself quickly, especially the important parts and dry it with a dry towel.
But before u do that, just wet ur hair even though u may not have time to use shampoo.
Then, put DO one more time, and perfume.
That would be enough.

Our school does have showers in the locker room, but we don’t have much time anyway, and most people don’t bother. The kids at my school are pretty lame, and I’m pretty sure the first person to strip off his clothes and take a shower would be destroyed everyday until he graduated. Luckily, my sweat never smells that bad. Or maybe that’s just because I don’t notice it because it’s coming from myself.

^I agree with how no one uses showers. We have them, but I think they are for sport teams after practice, seeing as how we only have five minutes to change if we are lucky:/ I find that deodorant works for me:)

deodorant, i lightly spray my armpits with axe every morning… but it’s not enough to be really annoying and disgusting :P. i mean it’s cheap, fast, and easy to use, so I frankly wouldnt and dont care what others think of it :D
