I know people have talked about buying these but I want to know which brand made you happy. We have wood and tile floors and dogs! Grand baby comes by too and he is at the crawling stage. So please tell which brand to go with!
We have had two Bissell’s. Both have failed fairly quickly. I would not buy that brand again.
I’d be careful with a steam mop on wood floors.
How about a Tineco? Works amazingly well on wood floors.
I had one for a while (I think it was a Shark) but it ended up getting donated. Just seemed like a lot more work than a cordless stick vac plus a spray mop, with no better results. Maybe there are better options than the one I had, though.
FWIW, if you want something like a swiffer spray mop but hate to keep buying refills, I can recommend what I have:
I highly recommend:
Agreed. I have the Tineco S5 and love it. It saves so much time and effort by vacuuming and mopping all at once. I use mine on hardwoods and marble floors, and always run it around real quick before the grandkids come. Dreame is another good brand.
Can this be used on LVP flooring?
I had a steam mop in Florida that I lived for my tile.
I feel like I cannot get these stupid floors clean, but steam is a no-no for LVP.
Is it hard to empty/clean?
Yes, it can be used on all types of floors that can be washed with cold water! Emptying the dirty water tank is way easier than wringing a mop! One fill of the clean water tank is sufficient for about 800 sft of floors in my experience. It can be used with regular water without the cleaning solution the maker recommends. There is a self clean cycle for the brushes: leave the mop in its stand, and it does the job on its own.
