<p>northside. try euclid and surrounding hills!</p>

<p>Top three blocks of Marin - just below Grizzly Peak. Or try running in Tilden Park - plenty of steep trails. Or up Strawberry Canyon above the campus - not that steep - but steady and pretty.</p>

<p>Yes, I absolutely agree. Last fall I was into sprinting and did these regularly for about a month. When I got home I would collapse --it began to eat into my time for reading/studying so I had to stop.</p>
<p>run up to Lawrence Berkeley Lab from Hearst. That’s a bit too steep, so I wouldn’t recommend running down from there.</p>
