So, I understand that admissions wants to see that prospective Stern students have already taken Calculus and that it is really important when it comes to admitting them, but is that the same for a prospective Steinhardt Music Business student?

help? anyone?

Yes… At an info session for Music business 2 years ago, the head of the departemt said that she looked at what level a student has attained in math and would like to see calculus. They also look at math SAT scores.

Okay, so is pre-calculus not acceptable?

they want you to take math all 4 years of hs…to the highest level you can get.

Alright, well I’m trying to take Pre-Calculus this summer at a school where I can recieve h.s. credit, so I can take Calculus next year. (Senior year) Thanks for all the help!
