<p>This is a very good school. Much smaller then some a lot of the Texas colleges. I have several friends with kids there, and all of them love it. Very pretty campus and friendly.</p>
<p>The music department is very strong, and they have a good education department as well.</p>
<p>Son’s GF is an education major there. I think she’s been pleased. It’s a pretty campus. It has one of those great student centers with lots of workout equipment, a rock climbing wall, an outdoor pool with a small lazy river. They get their share of at risk students from Houston and east Texas SO they have a huge tutoring center, which can come in handy for anyone. Freshman dorms are pretty dumpy (like at lots of schools). They have the pretty suite style dorms for upperclasspersons, but they are pricey and Son’s GF decided to move off campus instead. This year their football team was pretty good.</p>
