Stereograms contest -

when you defocus some words, you know how like the shadow of the words separate from the words, like the words move right and the shadow of the words move left, so you see double? Okay, do that to the picture, the stereogram. And then look for separating planes in the picture. What’s weird about the 3d ripple in the first post is that every time I blinked I saw a different 3d in front of me.

[this takes about 5 seconds](http://www.stjoan-center.com/p00591.jpg)

what works for me is imagining you’re looking through the image to see what’s on the other side. the usual put-it-up-close-then-pull-it-away technique hasn’t ever worked as well. i used to have a calendar of these in third grade. :)

guy sitting on a horse…cant figure wats behind him tho, some kinda banner

I must admit, this is the first time a stereogram has ever “worked” for me on a monitor. The first was very obviously a train after only a few moments.

[EDIT: I’m really amazed. These ones are mighty good. . . ]

what I don’t understand is why since there is more than one head and it’s all a pattern, why I can’t change to another head on the picture, why it’s always the same head in the middle

can anyone explain why this happens: once i am able to see the pic, even if i close my eyes for few seconds and then open, i dont have to focus again but am able to see the object immediately as i had left it…?

i think they only hid one 3-D image in the pic and the other heads are to throw you off

[and yet another](http://lucianpacurar.homeip.net/Stereograms/images/archives/teatime.jpg)

These are stereo pairs, rather than stereograms. So you’ll get to see real 3D color photos.
