Stereotypical 'chance me' thread

Out of state applicant

GPA: 3.6 unweighted, above 4 weighted
Rank: Top 20%
ACT: 31 (36 on Math, 33 on Science, 27 on both verbal, 10 on writing)
SAT II: 740 on US History
APs: 5 on Euro History, 5 on English Lang

Schedule: Currently, I am in four AP classes and have never taken a non-honors or non-AP class during the school year.

Extracurriculars: Lacking in this field, but I am the president of Astronomy Club and vice president of Chemistry Club. Also, I am going on an educational/community service trip to India for school.

Essays and Recs: I have decent writing skills. Hopefully my recs are good too, I am getting one from a math teacher that I worked well with.

Anyone have any idea on my chances? I am doing EA

And, one more thing that I want to add is that I probably will not have my application in until october 29th or so. So, right before the EA deadline.

You should probably get in

I hope so, but my counselor was telling me that Michigan is very numbers-reliant and will look down on my app because of my GPA.
