Thanks

math SAT is low for STERN. (not Sterns.)

what school would you be applying to if not Stern? CAS?

what’s your overall course rigor?

it should be known that internal transfers to Stern are REALLY difficult. really difficult. i’ve heard of people with 4.0s being turned away. also, you need to be in the program you are admitted to for one year before you can apply to transfer.

I would say you have a decent chance, although your GPA and SAT is a little bit lower than the average. It’s hard to say though since they just changed admission requirements. I’m guessing you will be sending in your SAT and 2 AP scores? Since you’re possibly applying to Stern you may want to take a look into sending in your SAT with 2 SAT Subject Tests (one of which being a Math II test since) if you could squeeze them in during the Fall. This may show your proficiency in math aside from the cumulative SAT.

You can only apply to one school within NYU, but I think you should definitely think about transferring if you don’t get in. While it was probably a lot of luck, I was a successful transfer to Stern with less spectacular stats for HS.

Lol @ Stern"s"

Anyways, your SAT might put you in LSP if you apply RD.

All my classes, with the exception of the corresponding courses to the AP tests I posted, and with the exception of certain school district required courses and athletics, are all Honors.

Stern doesn’t do LSP anymore.

ya, unfortunately with stern it’s either you’re in or rejection.

Just to make sure we are clear, AoDay is wrong. He seems to be implying that you can send AP scores in lieu of SAT 2s - This is not true.

They changed the admissions requirements starting Fall 2009.

A-Punk, just to make things clear, you’re wrong. From the looks of your post history, you’re an e-badass, so the least you can do is be correct before you dismiss other people’s comments so rudely.
