My daughter is interested in business/finance programs for undergrad with CS minor. I am having a hard time understanding how the universities really differ in courses offering besides the ratings I see online…
Among the choices i have listed what seems to be better that the other and why?

To start with, Rice and Duke don’t have undergrad finance or business majors…

Business plus computer science? If your daughter actually is interested in that, then she’ll be successful regardless (assuming she does well). But, having a high schooler know definitively wants to do computer science and finance (two fields that are highly technical and difficult) sounds pretty unrealistic / sounds like the daughter that every father wants to have.

well, seems like she is sure that she wants to do that. she also got into UCC, caltech(not a good business school). so now I am wondering which one is good to go for such a combination for a good career/job placement/future MBA in like maybe Harvard. She is favoring duke and I wonder if thats better overall.

As mentioned before, Duke does not have an undergraduate biz program.
