<p>First my compliments to Cart45, and daughter, realizing that someone cheating on a wife may be seeing more than 1 girl. Unfortunate that so many young women are too dumb or too naive or choose to “put blinders on” to realize if a guy is cheating on his wife, he may also be cheating on them. Sometimes men too, but I think it occurs more with women believing a low-class man.</p>

<p>And to Sunnyfla’s post (95) yes you are SO right that many here have dismissed, or refused to believe, or excused, or minimized his affair. (Note that I used “or”). Some have done that because he was once a top athlete, or a giver to the community(love that phrase about him) or because after football, he helped many youths.
I would have had no objection to his dating 10 young women or 20 young women, or 30, if he and the women were single.</p>

<p>1 idea about the shooting- if it is determined the last shot was the fatal shot, it may not be that she’s a bad aim. It may be the first 3 were the FU shots, just to make him suffer, and the last one intended to finish the job.</p>

<p>I would not execuse it or minimize it, but we also don’t know what the family knew. I.E. did Mechelle know of the relationship. Many married couples quietly seperate without the world knowing, it is not our place to take a leap that she had no idea he was with this girl. </p>

<p>That being said, I do believe he was a player, because now there is talk of him cheating on her with another girl.</p>

<p>This is off topic a bit, but I have always told my DD if he is willing to cheat on her with you, what makes you believe he won’t do that to you? Women can be another women’s worst enemy. A. because we would do that to anyone. B. because probably like this girl she believed him saying “I am getting divorced” when there was never any intention.</p>
