<p>I go to Stevens Tech in New Jersey. I am interested in possibly transferring out. How does the school rank with other schools? Does that matter in the transfer process?</p>

<p>It is a factor in the sense that your gpa is considered in reference to the rigor of your coursework and the college you attend.</p>
<p>Is it easier transferring from a good school to another good school or from a good school to a great school. Or is it easier transferring from a CC to a 4 year university?</p>
<p>I don't know about good and great, but it's usually more difficult to transfer to a more selective school than a less selective one.</p>
<p>Some CCs have agreements with the in-state 4 yr colleges which makes transferring relatively straightforward.</p>
