Stick it out or drop??

I expected calculus I to be hard enough. I made a study schedule that allots me 3-4 hours of study time just for that class. But I ended up with the worst instructor! She is incapable of explaining things well. Even with my five hour study session last night, most of her examples in class blew over my head. I could have made it in this class if she better set us up for success.
I was gonna try to stick it out and see if my hard work pays off. But after today, the chance looks thin. And no other instructors will offer an override.
Should I drop the class or stick with whatever grade I end up getting, better or worse? I cannot risk getting a B, definitely not a C! But I don’t want to waste time this semester. Or lose financial aid.
My friends and I are so scared for this class. Any advice?

The Internet has a wealth of information, especially about calculus. Have you looked at Khan Academy, Paul’s Math Notes, or any of the other resources available to you for free?

My point being that if the instructor isn’t doing it for you, you may have to take initiative yourself and do whatever you can to learn the material.
